As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining, executing and communicating, Amplify Health’s product strategy and roadmap.
You will be responsible for leading the Amplify’s portfolio product strategy, roadmap and execution to help to shape the future of healthcare in Asia. You will deliver products and solutions that have lasting customer value and impact, and in the process help achieve our strategic and financial goals.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation.Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate a clear, compelling, and differentiated product vision and strategy for the portfolio aligned with Amplify’s overall business objectives and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Product Portfolio Roadmap and Execution: Define, prioritise, and manage the portfolio of products roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of new features, products, and enhancements. Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Product Thought Leadership: Be the voice of product for Amplify. Internally, embed a product-led mindset across the organisation and help maintain a common sense of purpose around delivering the solutions we offer. Externally, ensure our proposition is well known and understood.
  • Market and Customer Understanding: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes within the healthcare industry. Conduct market research, customer interviews, and data analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product organisation, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Provide clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Product Marketing and Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing teams to develop and execute effective product go-to-market strategies, including value proposition development, messaging, pricing, and launch plans. Ensure successful product adoption and market penetration.
  • User Experience and Design: Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences.
  • Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Define and track key product metrics, analyse product performance, and identify areas for improvement and optimisation. Utilise data to inform product decisions and measure the impact of product initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, customers, and partners. Build strong relationships and manage expectations.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all product development and deployment processes adhere to relevant healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and security best practices.
  • Innovation and Future Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and potential disruptions in the healthcare, SaaS and DaaS sectors. Identify opportunities for innovation and strategic partnerships.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in portfolio product management, development and delivery, focused in high-growth SaaS and digital/tech environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully defining and launching innovative and impactful software products.
  • Strong preference for individuals who have operated in digital and tech environments, ideally Insurtech or Healthtech.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, patients, and regulatory frameworks will be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and motivating high-performing product teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.   
  • A visionary and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering etc); Master's degree preferred.
