What you will do

What You Will Do 

This role handles one of the largest Global markets headcount wise along with Global Capability Center. There are 2 manufacturing sites in the scope, with 2 external unions. This role supports business strategy implementation and interfaces directly with various cross country senior stakeholders for GCC as well as Global R&D hub. India is consistently on top/second in complex grievance and sensitive investigation matters.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

25%

  • Provides advice and counsels various human resources and business leaders on complex employee & labor relations matters including collective bargaining and contract interpretation. There are 2 manufacturing plants & 2 External Union under this role.
  • India has one of the highest contract resource deployments with multiple legislations governing co-employment scenarios.
  • ERLR is also expected to lead & advice on complex Supply Chain 3P vendor engagements including overseeing execution.

  • Proactive performance management thru close partnership with BU/BUHRs in timely identification, planning & execution of performance actions.

  • Lead Grievance & workplace investigations: triaging matters, managing complex comms, handling complex data gathering and deciding on Disciplinary Action. India is sensitive market with highest contribution of cases & most escalations.

  • Conduct environmental scans and participate in significant workplace events (such as the planning and execution of RIF’s/re-org.

  • Drives market disciplinary action committee decisions & comprising of key stakeholders in finance, audit, buhr, compliance & legal.

  • Develop Line Leader Capability to deal with ERLR scenarios. Provide business focused Employment Law/ERLR Point of view while making complex decisions.

  • Leverages standard operating procedures, case management, and work instructions and introducing key improvement plans for execution and cultural insights. Leads and manages an employee relations specialist

Other Duties

  • Ensure consistent application of Kenvue ERLR framework for GCC
  • Ensure RIF/separations with minimum disruption to the company from employment law/litigation aspect.
  • Seek external insights to build futuristic ERLR capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years in FMCG, Pharma or any manufacturing industry MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges.
