Role overview
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for defining how Instarem wins with consumers globally. You will operate as a business leader first and a marketer second — setting the growth agenda, shaping our brand, and directly influencing revenue outcomes across markets.
We are looking for a decisive, commercially minded operator who thrives in high-velocity environments and knows how to translate strategy into measurable impact. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with Consumer Product, Commercial, Data, Finance, and Regional leaders.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, deep consumer marketing experience, and a hands-on leadership mindset — comfortable operating in complexity, ambiguity, and high-growth environments.
Key responsibilities:
Set the Global Consumer Growth Agenda
- Define and lead Instarem’s global B2C marketing strategy, aligned with our consumer business priorities and regional growth plans
- Establish clear positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that resonate with cross-border, value-conscious consumers
- Translate company and product strategy into actionable marketing roadmaps with clear investment logic and ROI expectations.
Drive measurable growth across the full customer lifecycle
- Own key consumer growth levers: acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and reactivation
- Lead integrated marketing programs across performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, affiliate partnerships, referrals, content, and brand initiatives
- Partner with Product and Commercial teams on go-to-market strategy for new features, pricing changes, corridors, and propositions
Operate as a Strategic Partner to the Business
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Consumer GM and leadership team on growth strategy, market prioritization, and customer insight.
- Bring a strong point of view backed by data — influencing investment decisions and strategic trade-offs.
- Clearly connect marketing activity to revenue, customer value, and long-term business performance.
- Build an effective partnership strategy.
Lead a lean, high-performing team
- Lead, mentor, and grow a global consumer marketing team, including in-house talent and agency partners
- Set clear goals, success metrics, and operating rhythms across regions and functions
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Be deeply data-driven
- Define and own marketing success metrics that matter (e.g. CAC, LTV, conversion, engagement, cohort and segment health)
- Implement dashboards and reporting that connect marketing activity to business outcomes
- Champion experimentation and structured learning to unlock scalable growth.
Shape a Trusted, Global Consumer Brand
- Strengthen Instarem’s brand clarity and consistency across markets and channels
- Balance performance-driven growth with long-term brand trust and customer loyalty
- Ensure a cohesive customer narrative across product, marketing, and communications
Requirements:
- 10–15+ years of experience in consumer marketing, growth, or brand leadership roles
- Proven experience scaling global B2C products, ideally in fintech, payments, or consumer tech
- Strong track record owning growth outcomes, not just campaigns or channels
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, and GTM — with sound judgment on where each matters
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and operate cross-functionally
- Analytical, commercially minded, and comfortable working with data to drive decisions
- Experience marketing to cross-border, mass-market, or price-sensitive consumers is a strong advantage
- Builder mindset: pragmatic, low-ego, and energized by creating clarity in fast-moving environments
What success looks like
- A clear, differentiated consumer value proposition across Instarem’s priority markets
- Sustainable, efficient growth in active users, engagement, and revenue contribution
- Strong alignment between marketing, product, and business strategy
- A high-performing marketing team with clear ownership and momentum
- Marketing viewed internally as a core growth engine and strategic partner
