YOUR CHALLENGE

We are seeking an experienced and strategic individual to join our team as the Head of Balance Sheet Product Management - Asia. In this key strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of our balance sheet products across the Asia region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, increase profitability, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for balance sheet products (deposits, loans and mortgages) across Asia, aligning with the bank's overall objectives

  • Lead the design, development and roll out (incl. communication) of balance sheet products and services to meet client and market demands

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs, adjusting strategies and the offering as necessary

  • Monitor and steer the financial performance of balance sheet products by defining and optimizing pricing standards

  • Identify growth opportunities and run sales initiatives (e.g., campaigns, trainings) in collaboration with various stakeholders 

  • Act as the single point of contact for product, pricing, process, and change requests 

  • Ensure all products comply with local and international regulatory requirements, working closely with compliance and legal teams

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including treasury, risk, finance, and Front sales teams, to ensure alignment and successful product implementation

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in balance sheet management, product development, or a related field within the banking or financial services industry

  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, particularly deposits, loans, and liquidity management

  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful product strategies within the financial sector

  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments across Asia

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
