We are seeking an outstanding, execution-focused, and results-driven Sales Manager to join our Global Growth Advertiser Sales team. This role, based within the Growth Sales department, involves responding to qualified inbound leads, conducting outreach to new prospects, and handling the entire advertiser onboarding process—from demo and negotiation to ensuring initial campaign success on the Taboola platform.

As a Growth Sales Manager at Taboola, you will research, identify, engage, and onboard advertisers to expand and diversify our content offerings. We’re looking for a strong, sales-oriented professional who can independently source, prospect, and structure content marketing deals, especially in the Japan market.

Responsibilities and Skills

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline and accurately forecast new business closure rate and revenue booked.
  • Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them, and close deals.
  • Manage presentations, build relationships, and negotiate contracts within the Japan market.
  • Work closely with your colleagues in the Solution Engineering team to ensure new advertisers’ success, as well as the Growth Sales Director and Head of Growth to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build realistic media plans to assist the advertiser in understanding how they can meet their performance objectives, goals, and CPAs.
  • Interact with the Solution Engineering team to effectively manage client expectations and ensure successful campaign management.
  • Strong use of Salesforce is required, including ensuring your outbound activity is recorded accurately.
  • Work closely with your direct line manager to take direction, provide updates, feedback, real-time forecasts, and consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.

Requirements

  • A strong passion for Performance Marketing and a strong sales drive with an ability to build relationships.
  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese, with the ability to use formal Business Japanese when interacting with clients. Business-level English is also required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales position, at a digital media company.
  • Experience in structuring and negotiating deals in the Japan market.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and generated reports.
  • Excellent technological skills and the ability to quickly learn what is needed to support the campaign’s successful implementation and optimization.
  • Understanding of the digital technology and revenue ecosystem and the ability to explain product benefits within this context.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize effectively and efficiently without losing sight of objectives.
  • The will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and learn, learn, learn!
