About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, meticulous, and problem-solving Group Accountant ready to take on a high-impact role in our growing team. The Group Accountant will be responsible for accurate and timely monthly and year-end closing consolidation, managing intercompany reconciliation, and analyzing group reporting. This role also involves ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with finance and functional teams across regions (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan) and coordinate with Regional FC/GL and FP&A teams in Singapore.
• Prepare and review group consolidation and financial reporting in line with SFRS(I), including monthly consolidated accounts and journal entries.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct analytical reviews of the group balance sheet and coordinate with subsidiaries on variance explanations.
• Support the review of financial reports from subsidiaries to meet group reporting deadlines.
• Analyze and assess the impact of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors on audit, tax, and accounting matters to facilitate year-end audit closure.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and international accounting standards (SFRS).
• Demonstrated attention to detail, time management skills, and adaptability to change.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP system and excellent Excel skills.
