Job Description

We’re looking for a Graduate Data Analyst who is passionate about Wise’s mission of Money Without Borders and who will partner with our global Compliance teams to help us on our journey to Mission Zero!

About the team:

You will join a team of analysts who will develop and own the reporting layer for Compliance activities to give assurance to the Board and our regulators that we are effectively managing the risks we face.  These activities include regulatory reporting - both routine and ad hoc, as well as Compliance monitoring and testing.

Your mission:

You will join the Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team to help the organisation better understand compliance risks across the globe. You will do this by partnering very closely with 2nd line for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region to ensure they can execute against the compliance regulatory reporting schedule, as well as leveraging data to proactively monitor risks.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Partnering with Compliance in providing assurance that 1st line is effectively managing risks, primarily focused in the APAC region, but with the opportunity to partner with other regions when required.

  • Enable self-serve analytics by creating intuitive, scalable data models and tools (e.g. Dashboards), helping stakeholders quickly find the insights they need.

  • Providing analytical support for regulatory reporting and Compliance monitoring initiatives

  • Working on opportunities where automated Compliance monitoring would be highly impactful

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a positive change in the world. Wise is fixing a broken financial system, and putting people and businesses in control of their money

  • Help build a world-class Compliance Analytics team that fosters high trust with our customers and external partners.

  • Travel when needed to our offices across the globe to connect with local compliance experts.

  • Learn from a global network of professionals. We have a large, diverse team of analysts, data scientists and Compliance partners that you will work with and learn from.

Qualifications

A bit about you:

  • You're proficient in SQL and comfortable working with relational databases.

  • You have knowledge of data modeling fundamentals and ideally some experience designing and implementing data structures.

  • You have experience in using visualisation tools, for example Looker, Google Sheets and Excel

  • You understand the importance of data integrity, quality & governance. You know how to produce comprehensive data documentation

  • You're a clear communicator who can simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical teammates.

  • You have relevant project(s) that you are proud to talk about

  • You have a strong sense of ownership and care about doing things the right ways

  • You are able to start in January 2026

  • Unrestricted right to work in Singapore

  • You’re a final year student studying a Bachelors or Masters degree. This might be in Computer Science, STEM or Business/Finance

Bonus:

  • You have an understanding of how analytics can be used within Compliance to provide assurance over the effectiveness of risk management

  • Experience with using data engineering tools (GitHub, dbt, Airflow etc.)

  • Knowledge of python for data analysis
