About the Role
The Graduate Programme will give the opportunity to fresh graduate a immersive experience in Corporate Finance functions within the dynamic telco industry. You'll be part of the Finance department, gaining hands-on exposure with end-to-end Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Treasury and Taxation domains, which will help you evolve into a tuned finance professional.
You will be given the opportunity to gain experience where you will be coached and guided throughout your progress to ensure smooth learning and growth in the organization and your professional career development in Finance.
Main Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Understand the foundations of Accounting, Bookkeeping, Audit coordination, Internal Controls, ERP and P2P systems
- Understand and practice strict control environment in compliance with best practices, generally accepted accounting principles, Telenor Group policies and procedures
- Supervise and ensure monthly accounts closing activities by close coordination with service provider and internal resources
- Handle voluminous account reconciliations with vendors, customers, Group Inter Companies and other stakeholders in an efficient manner
- Support finance team by sharing responsibility, improving way of work and controlling core accounting treatment, disclosures, bookkeeping and audit coordination areas
- Support in Direct/In-direct tax matters, recording and reporting
- Prepare periodic reports for presentation to management
