We have an opportunity for a Government, Industry & Partnerships Specialist to join the Boeing Global (BG) team. Based in Dubai, UAE, the role will support Boeing's Vice President for Middle East and North Africa to establish and implement the company's strategic vision to achieve growth and productivity objectives.
The Boeing Global organization is responsible for leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide global, country, and regional strategies, in close coordination with the business and functional leaders. It also takes the lead on international government relations, providing direction and management of the company's interface activity with foreign governments and officials, industry leaders, media, policy and academic institutions in all areas of aerospace industry and related activities. It provides guidance and coordination of enterprise-wide country and regional strategies and policies to promote Boeing's international business activities.
Position Responsibilities:
The Government, Industry & Partnerships Specialist, reports to the Vice President, Middle East, North Africa and will support the Vice President in coordinating and collaborating with the business units, functions and other company entities (subsidiaries, joint ventures, etc.) to achieve their strategic goals and business objectives. In particular, the role will include the following duties as specifically directed by the Vice President:
  • Regularly interfaces with Boeing business units to enable integrated approach to business, knowledge of key business, campaigns and partnership activities
  • Develops and strengthens relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, industry partners, customers, and strategic partners.
  • Identifies business development opportunities for Boeing in potential regional growth markets
  • Supports the execution of country and regional strategies aligned with Boeing's enterprise and business objectives.
  • Acts as the in-house market expert and ensures team is kept up to date with significant market intelligence and geopolitical issues
  • Coordinates and supports Boeing Global Engagement (BGE) activities across the Middle East and Africa, including program implementation, and impact reporting.
  • Owns and manages the team's strategic and operational documentation, ensuring all materials, including country strategies, stakeholder maps, leadership briefs, meeting materials, trackers, and planning documents, are regularly updated, accurate, and readily available to support business needs.
  • Supports (or leads, as appropriate) on the implementation of enterprise and business initiatives
  • Supports all government relations activities and cross-functional initiatives across the region

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a regulated industry or a large governmental entity
  • Willing to travel as required expected to exceed not more than 25% of the time
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Prior experience at a Fortune 500 company (or equivalent) and/or Consulting company
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to identify business opportunities
  • Evidence of successful interactions with governmental entities
  • Demonstrable ability to conduct research, analyze materials and prepare concise report on findings
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully navigate a complex and matrixed organization structure

Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law.
