Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality immigration consultation and respond to queries from Hitachi Asia business units and group companies
- Take the lead in managing Singapore immigration case cycle, handling immigration issues, and analyzing individual immigration cases
- Identify areas of redundancy and process improvement for optimal processes execution
- Create documents and announce immigration updates, new policies and procedures in Southeast Asia
- Conduct research, develop project-based services, and coordinate tasks with our business units and group companies
- Contribute country-specific insights in areas such as housing, education, tax and immigration into the mobility program
- Help create new service offerings and act as a project leader for new service implementation
- Counsel assignees on a broad range of mobility topics, such as payroll, benefits, taxes, immigration, and relocations
- Coordinate relocation logistics, which may include, but are not limited to: home search, visa applications, tax reporting, and expatriate payroll
- Ensure Hitachi adheres to all immigration compliance and laws, and conduct audits
- Prepare secondment agreements, international assignment letters, and contracts
- Conduct meetings and training sessions with relevant parties
