Global Account Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

Global Account Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in this transformation by streamlining and optimizing sales processes and ensuring global account team operates efficiently to support business growth and customer satisfaction. Will oversees Sales Program Managers who are tasked with supporting Global Account Team through focusing on the right activities to penetrate accounts and segments, build collaboration within various Hitachi business units and build a best in class customer centric model. Team supports by enabling data-driven decisions are made, initiatives are driven to completion and the sales stack is fully utilized to achieve business targets.

  • Organizational set up: Deploy and manage a team of Global Account Operations Manager globally that will support in excess of 50 global accounts across various regions. Sales Program Managers are integral part of the Global Account Team that enable and drive initiatives across the accounts to grow Hitachi foot-print.

  • Account Sales Process Management: Develop, standardize, and deploy account management and sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This includes managing development of and execution of global account plans, effectiveness of targeted account initiatives, monitor sales pipeline development and workflow, ensuring that all sales activities align and produce measurable outcomes.

  • Orders Forecasting: Deploy process that will provide accurate sales forecasts by analysing BU input together with global accounts input that will enable best forecast accuracy.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to gain insights into performance trends and areas for improvement. Generate actionable reports that inform strategic decisions and help in setting that will enable rectification and growth.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, tools and segments to align on joint account activities and deploy initiatives. Ensure seamless communication, knowledge transfer and coordination among functions.

  • Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve account management and sales efficiency. Use metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas where the sales process can be streamlined.

  • Training and Development: Deliver Account Plan Workshops programs for Global Account Team that will enable understanding of Hitachi portfolio that will support meeting customer’s strategic needs. Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed for success.

  • Sales Tools Implementation: Evaluate and support implement sales tools and technologies that improve account plan execution and enable consolidation of pipeline management, productivity and efficiency.

Your profile

We’re looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:

  • Bachelor's degree in either Engineering or Business or Trade qualifications with business management experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations Management, preferably in a multi segment, IT/OT environment.  

  • Strong system and process implementation skills, people management skills, with experience in dealing with complex geographically disperse organizational structures

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence.

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills. Experience in deploying digital tools and CRM

  • Willingness and openness to travel up to 25% globally.

  • Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all time zones

  • Excellent English level. Japanese proficiency is a great advantage
