Ziina is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Web) to join our team. We have laid a strong foundation upon which we've shipped our product. We are looking for someone to help us build engaging new features who is obsessive about delivering high quality products and can shape our engineering organization to be the kind of place that bright young minds from across the region aspire to work for.
As our team is small, our ideal candidate is a creative thinker excited to solve hard problems to build something from the ground up. They can move quickly, clearly articulate tradeoffs, and have the judgement to own features independently. They are obsessive about delivering great, high quality products to our users. As a Full-Stack engineer at Ziina you will:Collaborate with world-class product, design, operations, and engineering teams to determine which features and solutions will deliver the most value for the business and the best experience for our users.
Own, develop, and deliver end-to-end feature implementations spanning both the frontend and backend, with primary ownership of our web apps and working knowledge of the backend services it depends on. You will take features from design, to implementation, to polish, to shipping, to monitoring and measuring progress.
Actively participate in design discussions and collaborate with the product team to ensure web interfaces are user-friendly, intuitive, performant, and accessible, while integrating effectively with backend services and GraphQL APIs.
Review code and continuously level up by collaborating with other engineers on the team.
Help shape our engineering culture by introducing best practices, tools, and methods of knowledge-sharing for building best-in-class products.
Have 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with deeper expertise on the web/frontend side.

Are based in, or open to relocating to, the UAE
Deep proficiency with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and comfort working in Node.js/Nest.js on the backend when a feature calls for it.
Strong eye for UI/UX craft — interaction design, performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility, and cross-browser/device consistency.
Experience consuming and shaping GraphQL APIs (ideally with a Federation setup) from the client side.
Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, and comfort reading/writing backend logic when a feature requires it.
Strong understanding of RESTful/GraphQL APIs, web servers, application architecture, and deployment strategies.
A solid grasp of version control tools, preferably Git.

AWS for hosting our cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes for orchestrating our workloads.
