Acclaro is currently recruiting up to 2 Creative Marketing Translators & Transcreators (Indonesian > English US) to support ongoing marketing, entertainment, and multimedia localization projects for an active global client.

- Compensation: This is a paid freelance opportunity. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's proposed rates and project requirements.
- Deliver high-quality transcreation, translation, and cultural adaptation for marketing, entertainment, and multimedia creative content from Indonesian into English.
- Work collaboratively with internal and linguistic teams to ensure high quality output across various platforms.
- Conduct deep cultural and market research to ensure copy avoids literal translation pitfalls and perfectly captures brand tone, humor, and nuances.
- Review, proofread, and provide constructive feedback on Indonesian-to-English marketing copy to optimize campaign performance.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in English (US) with professional-grade source comprehension of Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia).
- Proven experience of 3 or more years in translation and transcreation, preferably in a marketing context.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent commercial experience).
- A proven track record of adapting tone, style, and voice across diverse brand guidelines and multimedia formats.
- Creativity and an eye for detail, capable of creating compelling and persuasive content.
- Familiarity with modern CAT tools and localization workflows, backed by exceptional communication and remote collaboration skills.
