We are hiring a Forward Deployment Engineer!

In this role, you’ll work closely with our customers and internal teams to design, implement, and support technical solutions that bring our payment infrastructure to life. You’ll bridge the gap between product, engineering, and business, helping partners integrate with our platform while shaping how our technology scales. If you’re excited about solving real-world integration challenges and building at the intersection of payments and technology, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a candidate who is bi-lingual in English and Chinese to help support our APAC customers. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with customers throughout the integration journey—from pre-sales discovery to post-launch support.
  • Design and articulate scalable payment solutions that meet each customer’s technical and business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
  • Build and maintain solution architecture diagrams, integration guides, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and work with internal teams to resolve blockers quickly.
  • Help shape internal tooling and processes to make integrations smoother over time.
  • Advocate for customers internally while helping them get the most out of our platform.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills – this is key for working closely with both external partners and internal cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or in a similar technical role, with solid coding skills (e.g. Python, JavaScript) and familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience in the payments or fintech space – you understand how money moves and what it takes to integrate with financial systems.
  • Comfortable working with backend systems, debugging issues, and designing scalable, reliable solutions.
  • Experience in cryptocurrency or blockchain is a plus.
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment and solving complex technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a technical solutions-focused role (e.g. Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Integration Engineer, Forward Deploy Engineer or similar).
  • Bi-Lingual in English and Chinese
  • Proficient in working with APIs, backend systems, and at least one programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript). Front end experience is a plus!
  • Experience supporting production integrations in cloud environments.
  • Strong grasp of system design and integration best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
