Job Summary & Responsibilities

Global Compliance manages the firm’s compliance, regulatory and reputational risks by ensuring adherence to laws, rules and regulations. The division monitors trends and changes in regulations in all jurisdictions in which the firm does business and develops and implements firmwide and divisional policies and procedures. In addition to advising the firm’s businesses, Global Compliance is responsible for participating in audits and inquiries, Compliance learning, surveillance and testing the firm’s risk management infrastructure.


Financial Crime Compliance ("FCC") is part of the firm's Global Compliance Division and is responsible for coordinating the firmwide anti-financial crime program. The team designs, develops, implements and oversees a wide range of systems and controls designed to prevent and detect money laundering, terrorist financing, government sanctions violations, fraud, corruption and other misconduct.  Within FCC, the Conduct and Insider Threat (“C&I”) team is responsible for the firm’s Business Integrity and Insider Threat Programs, and Compliance Conduct Risk.


The successful candidate will engage in the FCC C&I program across Asia Pacific, promoting the highest standards of business integrity and employee conduct in order to support the regional and firmwide anti-financial crime program.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Promoting the firm’s Core Values, Business Principles, and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Championing the firm’s Business Integrity/Whistleblower Program
  • Identifying, measuring and managing Conduct Risk
  • Investigating suspected breaches
  • Implementing robust preventative and detective controls, policies and procedures, and training
  • Providing insightful metrics and management information 
  •  

Experience/Skill Requirements

  • Experience investigating complex and sensitive matters 
  • Detail-oriented, well organised and able to work autonomously 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
