BitGo (NYSE: BTGO) is the digital asset infrastructure company delivering custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, stablecoins, and settlement services from regulated cold storage. Since 2013, BitGo has focused on accelerating the transition of the financial system to a digital asset economy. BitGo maintains a global presence and multiple regulated entities, including BitGo Bank & Trust, National Association, the first federally chartered digital asset trust bank owned by a publicly traded company. Today, BitGo serves thousands of institutions, including many of the industry's top brands, financial institutions, exchanges, and platforms, and millions of investors worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to own the finance and accounting function for BitGo in Singapore, with a focus on our MAS-regulated Major Payment Institution entity. Reporting to the APAC Managing Director, and working closely with the global Finance team, you will be accountable for the integrity of the books and records across our Singapore entities, statutory reporting, and the associated control environment.

This is a senior individual contributor role. You will be the sole finance professional in-market, which means doing the work as well as owning it — running the close, producing the management accounts, and presenting the numbers to leadership. We are looking for someone senior enough to exercise judgment in a regulated environment, and hands-on enough to do the work themselves.

Responsibilities

Financial Control & Reporting
● Own the end-to-end accounting function across BitGo's Singapore entities, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, accruals and intercompany eliminations.
● Produce monthly management accounts and entity P&L reporting for local and group consumption.
● Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and manage the annual audit, acting as primary liaison with external auditors.
● Ensure accurate accounting treatment for digital asset holdings, trading activity, client assets and multi-currency transactions.
● Deliver timely and accurate reporting to the global Finance team, including consolidation inputs and variance analysis.

Controls & Governance
● Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment to meet both regulatory expectations and listed-company standards.
● Support regulatory readiness through strong financial governance and documentation, partnering with Compliance, Legal and Operations as required.
● Oversee ACRA and IRAS obligations in conjunction with external providers.

Business Partnership & Planning
● Provide the Managing Director with timely financial insight to support commercial decision-making, including entity P&L, cost management and revenue analysis.
● Own budgeting and forecasting for the Singapore business, and support group capital planning.
● Partner with global Finance, FP&A and Tax to align local practice with group policy.
● Identify and implement process improvements and automation as the business grows.

Requirements

● Chartered Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA Australia or equivalent) with expert knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP familiarity advantageous given group reporting.
● 8–12 years of accounting experience across professional practice and industry.
● Familiarity with cryptocurrency and digital asset trading activity, including valuation, custody and client asset treatment.
● Experience in a MAS-regulated Major Payment Institution and/or Capital Markets Services (CMS) licensee strongly preferred.
● Track record of owning a statutory audit end to end.
● Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency; NetSuite strongly preferred.
● Effective communicator across time zones, with experience working with a global head office.
