As a Financial Analyst, you will support financial reporting, assist in budgeting processes, analyze revenue, and enhance finance workflows.
Virtuos is looking for a skilled and motivated Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst in the Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you will be key in supporting the Group with reporting and analysis for decision making and helping the organization in exceeding its goals.
To be successful in this role, you should thrive in a fast-paced work environment, be able to work well under pressure and possess strong analytical skills. Additionally, you are meticulous in your work, proactive in identifying improvements and committed to driving continuous process enhancements.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Lead Analyst, this role will be part of the Group FP&A team:
- Month-end financial closing for management reporting such as project costing, group cost allocation to studios, cost allocation between studios, gross margin calculation.
- Assist in preparation of monthly and Quarterly reports and data for support of studios production team and other departments
- Support and review game proposal margin simulations and analysis
- Assist in forecasting and annual budgeting process
- Review and identify potential risks in game revenue recognition and forecasting
- Assist in variance reporting - comparing actual costs with forecasted/last year/ budgeting costs
- Proactively enhance or implement finance workflows across the Group to improve efficiency
- Support any ad-hoc related projects and responsibilities as and when assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance
- 2-3 years related working experience
- Solid MS Office skills especially in pivot table and spreadsheet modelling
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
- Good interpersonal skills and responsibility, ability to work in multicultural group
- Able to work well under pressure, meticulous and deadline driven
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
