Tencent Finance is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst (Settlement) to join our team in Singapore, supporting the global expansion of our Financial Technology (FiT) business group. This role will play a critical part in supporting the daily operations of our foreign exchange clearing and settlement functions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of payment settlement frameworks, a keen eye for risk identification, and the ability to drive process optimisation in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily settlement operations for FX business, including data monitoring, settlement plan design, IT system requirement assessments, and analysis of business trends.
  • Assess and manage banking partners’ settlement capabilities and related risks; oversee bank account operations and maintain working relationships with banks, institutional partners, and internal teams.
  • Assist in designing FX clearing and settlement schemes aligned with regulatory demands, business needs, and capital liquidity considerations.
  • Identify areas for process optimisation in settlement systems and work with product and IT teams to implement enhancements.
  • Prepare daily settlement reports and provide analytical insights to support business decisions.
Who We Look For
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the payment or financial services industry; experience in FX settlement at a local Singapore bank is highly preferred. Recent graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Solid understanding of payment industry clearing and settlement models; familiarity with global regulatory environments is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written) to support effective communication across regional and HQ teams.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with high professional ethics.
