About the role

Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) is a global leader in impact investing, financial innovation, and gender-focused capital markets. We connect investors, corporations, and institutions with opportunities that create financial returns and measurable social impact. 

We are seeking a Finance Manager to direct all financial operations for the IIX, including overseeing the finance team (internal/outsourced), managing financial reporting, conducting statutory audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the finance team (internal/outsourced) to ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly and year-end financial reporting, statutory audits, and compliance of IIX group of companies and SPV’s.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance.
  • Preparation of statutory financial reports in accordance with FRS/IFRS.
  • Prepare corporate tax computation including filing of returns and liaising with tax agent / IRAS.
  • Oversee Group and SPV's audit and collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers as needed.
  • Preparing the necessary reports and documentation for periodical financial reporting to stakeholders, including donors, governmental bodies, and program managers.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for budget variance analysis providing an overview of performance of the head office and business units.

3. Financial Operations & Control

  • AR Monitoring and collection.
  • Oversee cashflow management.
  • Continuously review existing processes to optimize and improve efficiency while ensuring robust internal controls across all IIX groups of companies.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting requiredExperience: At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting rolesExpertise: Ability to act independently and execute sound judgment. Good understanding of financial reporting standards, accounting principles and statutory regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel. Experience with Quickbooks would be advantageous.Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate vision into action and drive measurable results.
Collaboration & Leadership: Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
Location: Singapore HQ.
