The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 2,500 team members.

The role is responsible for establishing and managing effective governance, controls and processes to mitigate and manage risk. The role will also manage, advise and oversee all commercial activity and outcomes establishing terms of business. Provision to the Sites Leadership teams with the tools (reports, analysis, insight) they need to drive and improve business performance, whilst providing coaching, advice and feedback to ensure robust decision making and increase others’ capability in finance management activities.
  • Manage all aspects of the financial accounting function in Sri Lanka across all sites
  • Manage cash flow, asset and capex controls and local treasury functions
  • Manage the financial control of all assets and liabilities of the company including fixed assets, petty cash and accruals
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and completed in accordance with strict monthly timelines and ensure queries are addressed and resolved promptly
  • Ensure all financial reports are recorded in accordance with all applicable accounting and reporting standards
  • Ensure all Finance policies and procedures are reviewed and updated where required
  • Manage banking arrangements, cash flow, asset and capex controls and treasury functions
  • Oversee key receivables and payable processes and ensure implementation and compliance with internal controls and delegated authorities
  • Provide financial oversight and support to the procurement process by reviewing purchase requests, validating budget availability, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Collaborate closely with the Procurement Team and the Local Administrative Officer to ensure cost-effective sourcing, timely payments, and accurate documentation of all procurement-related financial transactions.
  • Ensure the completion the Statutory Accounts accurately and within necessary timelines including all required schedules and supporting information
  • Manage and review the annual budget
  • Manage and review the results of the quarterly business forecasts
  • Manage fast, efficient and reliable management reporting including weekly P&L and KPI reporting to strict timelines
  • Develop people to meet both their career and organisational goals, builds strong identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspective to achieve common goals
  • Monitor staff attendance, absenteeism, discipline, and overall performance while actively participating in employee engagement activities to promote a positive and productive workplace culture

  • Manage all internal, external and statutory financial audit processes and liaise with associated auditors, advisors and regulatory bodies as required
