A Snapshot
As a Finance Manager reporting to the Financial Controller (APAC), you will work closely with the rest of the Finance team, making an impact in a number of ways:
- You will lead a team and be a pivotal member of a finance team, capable of supporting the hyperscale growth of a dynamic business in new markets whilst maintaining appropriate financial governance and controls.
- You will be responsible for the consolidation and financial reporting requirements of the Group’s APAC operations – including but not limited to managing the financial year-end close as well as local and regional audits.
- As a growth position within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business, the general nature and level of work within your role is designed to progress as opportunities arise
Your Day to Day
- Review and, where require, perform financial accounting and controlling duties
- Prepares consolidation in relation to external reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regional statutory reporting requirements, including managing external audits and relevant statistical reports
- Manage regional income tax compliance obligations, including project execution of special purpose studies with tax consultants
- Support Group’s regional financing arrangements on covenant reporting and various other information undertakings
- Assist with other ad hoc projects and duties as required
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of work experience in financial reporting (prior big 4 audit experience required)
- Highly proficient financial reporting skills, including experience with the preparation of complex consolidations and accounting papers
- Possess excellent organisation and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
