Job Overview:

Automation provides a basis for taking on a lot of mundane, repetitive tasks and freeing up time for the employees to focus on more meaningful work, which leads to better productivity, greater innovation, and stronger business results. However, it is not enough to continue looking only at the automation of tasks. Businesses are looking to add intelligence to automation technology, where it can start to think like people think and analyze the way people analyze.

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the company and is responsible for budget planning as well as supporting executive management team in offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

What you’ll do:

The key responsibilities for this role are as follows. However, the responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, including tax filings and audits.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements to ensure business sustainability.

What you’ll bring:

5 – 10 years of accounting/finance experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Strong communication and ability to interact with all levels within the organization
  • Confident, creative, and innovative thought leadership to deliver impact in a hyper growth environment
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • Experience working independently and navigating ambiguity
  • Experience with XERO accounting system is advantageous
