Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Operations professional to join our Public Markets team in Singapore. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operational and financial activities across the investment lifecycle, including trade execution support, portfolio operations, fund accounting oversight, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily trading activities across the investment portfolios, including trade execution, IPO subscriptions, settlement, post-trade processing, and lifecycle event management.
- Oversee portfolio operations, including cash management, reconciliations, corporate actions, fund accounting oversight, NAV reviews, portfolio valuations, and financial reporting.
- Support fund lifecycle activities, including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, audits, and coordination with fund administrators.
- Partner with portfolio managers and coordinate with brokers, custodians, prime brokers, fund administrators, and other service providers to ensure timely transaction processing and operational excellence.
- Maintain robust operational controls by monitoring trade exceptions, data integrity, operational risks, and process efficiencies, while supporting regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in public markets middle office, fund operations, or fund accounting
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, fund accounting, portfolio operations, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work under tight market deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Excel skills
