Field Sales Rep

Field Salesperson Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands 

A Sales Representative, or Salesperson, is responsible for using their knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for their Kontoor Brands. Their duties include developing sales plans to sell products to their assigned existing account base. Generate sales leads and taking calls from prospective customers.  Maintain documentation of their sales like invoices or client contact.

This position exists to serve as one of the primary account contacts and relationship manager driving results in a geographical territory for Kontoor Brands. This position must understand the current business environment and monitor opportunities in the market to stay ahead of trends while supporting all account and Kontoor Brands needs and requirements. Establish control-related standards and procedures while reporting back to the company with regular updates.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Works closely with the retail accounts to identify and develop strategies to grow Wrangler and Lee brands
  • Plan and execute seasonal product presentations
  • Manages inventory levels, internal and external, in conjunction with the account to achieve targeted sales, turnover and in stock percentage goals
  • Analyze sales data, both overall and specific market share, looking for both growth and missed opportunities
  • Develop strong, effective internal and external relationships which identify opportunities to grow our business
  • Sells, negotiates, and communicates Brand strategies and initiatives
  • General knowledge of web based selling
  • Go into customer’s stores’ and merchandising product, set-up fixtures and display all (POS) point of purchase material

Experience/Education:

Years of Related Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year in sales or related field

Educational/Position Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Working knowledge of retail industry & national apparel competitive landscape

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:  

  • Must be able to “bag” samples, open salesman’s racks, load and unload sales sample line from your vehicle
  • At times, must be able to physically lift up to 30 pounds
  • Frequent travel
