About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, External Communications, you will manage the delivery of PropertyGuru’s consumer communications in Singapore and corporate communications across the Group. You will work to agreed priorities, with delivery support from a PR agency that you will manage day to day. The role combines media relations and campaign delivery with initiatives to build PropertyGuru’s corporate reputation and leadership presence.

As a Guru you will be accountable for:

  • Deliver communications for Singapore consumer campaigns, product launches and insights, working with the marketing team and PR agency to develop stories and secure media coverage.
  • Identify and secure relevant thought leadership and engagement opportunities for PropertyGuru and its leaders, aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day media enquiries and relationships, draft and review communications materials, and coordinate spokesperson preparation and stakeholder approvals.
  • Manage the PR agency’s delivery across both remits, setting priorities and briefs, reviewing content and outreach, and tracking agreed deliverables, budgets and results.
  • Coordinate content updates and publishing for the corporate website, newsroom and Group LinkedIn, working with internal teams and website partners.
  • Oversee media monitoring and reporting with agency and monitoring partners, identifying relevant developments, opportunities and emerging issues.
  • Support issues and crisis responses under the direction of the Head of External Communications, coordinating facts, draft responses and stakeholder input.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven years of relevant communications experience, gained in-house, in an agency or both, with a demonstrated track record in consumer communications and experience in corporate communications and supporting senior spokespeople.
  • Excellent writing and editorial judgement, with the ability to make complex information clear and recognise a strong media angle.
  • Credibility and confidence when working with senior executives, including the ability to offer considered advice and constructive challenges when needed.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and composure under pressure, with the ability to handle sensitive matters and recognise when to escalate.
  • Strong ownership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage agency partners and multiple workstreams independently.
  • Good understanding of Singapore’s media landscape, with familiarity with regional business media an advantage.

Our commitment to you:

  • Hybrid flexible working that focuses on outcomes over hours.

  • Holistic rewards package covering your financial, physical & mental health.

  • Multi-directional career development across all levels.

  • Inclusive benefits like equal paternity leave, supporting all employees in work-life balance.

At PropertyGuru, you’ll be part of a Top Employers Certified* company that puts people at the heart of everything we do.
