Job Description:
What You'll Do

  • Responsible for leading the acquiring, business development and client management efforts for our top key hotel brand partners. Serves as the subject matter expert for assigned portfolio. Ensures execution of projects with department wide impact.
  • Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.


How You'll Do It

  • Responsible for leading the acquiring, business development and client management efforts for key hotel brands.
  • Develop strategic relationships with hotel payment ecosystem (CRS, PMS, etc.) players.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key hotels in APAC, providing exceptional customer service and support as required.
  • Support Relationship Managers and DGN acquirers to expand payment acceptance channels.
  • Track and monitor enablement status.
  • Identify the potential acquirers that hotels can work with to enable DGN cards acceptance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful acquirer referral and onboarding of accounts.
  • Work towards achieving enablement targets.
  • Serve as the strategic liaison between Discover and assigned enablement partner(s) by maintaining relationships with decision-makers across all divisions of the assigned partner.
  • Partner internally and externally to identify, develop and implement new business opportunities.
  • Present and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to increase transactions, grow marketshare and improve merchant stated awareness, acceptance and product offerings.
  • Develop and implement operational initiatives and ensure full compliance with Discover Network's Change Release process, compliance and business practices.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and experience to drive sales, accelerate business results and build and win new acceptance.
  • Maintain data integrity in Salesforce system


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Finance or related field.
  • 6+ years in Business Development, Sales, Relationship Management, Strategy or related experience.
  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years in Business Development, Sales, Relationship Management or Strategy

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Masters degree in Business Administration and Management, Marketing, Finance or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Sales or Relationship Management, preferably payments or credit card processing in the hospitality industry.
  • Existing relationship with hotel payments industry players.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
