We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Policy Services team.
This role will be responsible to support the Benefits & Payments team to handle policy servicing related matters and to ensure a smooth and timely policy payouts.
Position Responsibilities:
- Proactively analyze processes to identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in life insurance operations processes
- Be the liaison point between the business and the technical analyst in making sure requirements are clearly understood and translated to functional requirements by leveraging on the resources and skill-set within and across work-streams
- Liaise and work closely with Information System Department in seeking solutions to problems identified
- Review business requirements for system enhancements
- Perform user acceptance testing on system enhancements or production fixes and ensure proper follow through of issues till closure
- Process service requests from customers in order to build a strong foundation on the business processes
- Ensure relevant standard operating procedure manual are updated on a timely basis whenever there are amendments or updates
- Supports audit requests, appeals and service recovery
- Manage team’s email inbox
- Any other duties delegated from time to time
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree from any recognized institution/university
- Related insurance qualifications would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with 3 years of relevant experience in life insurance operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to be customer centric
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous with an eye for details and a proactive attitude
- Team player
