What You’ll Be Doing

As the Executive, HSE, you are responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the company’s Safety and Sustainability standards in accordance with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations. The role supports the organization in fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace through effective risk management, compliance, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Regulatory & Corporate Compliance

  • Perform the duties of a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer in accordance with MOM regulations and Corporate Safety & Sustainability requirements.
  • Ensure company activities comply with all relevant safety, health, environmental, and sustainability legislation and corporate standards.

Safety Leadership & Advisory

  • Provide leadership in the resolution of Safety and Sustainability‑related issues and advise stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Participate in Safety main and sub‑committee meetings, inspections, and serve as a consultant and advisor to the committees.

Safety & Sustainability Management Systems

  • Establish, implement, and maintain Safety and Sustainability procedures, programs, and management systems aligned with the company’s operational needs.
  • Support the Management Representative in reviewing, updating, and maintaining Safety procedures and records.

Risk & Incident Management

  • Implement an effective risk management framework through activity reviews, risk assessments, communication, and control measures.
  • Investigate accidents, near‑misses, and occupational diseases; prepare accurate reports and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities and management.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Manage and maintain all Safety and Sustainability documentation.
  • Prepare and submit Safety performance reports to management and corporate levels.
  • Update the Safety notice board monthly with relevant information.

Training & Development

  • Develop and conduct Safety and Sustainability training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Implement and maintain an effective Contractors’ Management System and Visitors’ Orientation Program.

Industrial Hygiene & Medical Surveillance

  • Manage medical surveillance programs (e.g., audiometric tests, lead and manganese exposure examinations), review findings, and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Schedule and manage industrial hygiene monitoring to ensure employee exposure to fumes, vapors, dust, or noise remains within permissible limits.

Fire Safety Support

  • Assist the Fire Safety Manager in fulfilling statutory fire safety requirements and supporting fire safety initiatives.

Environmental Management

  • Identify and monitor sources of waste and environmental emissions, ensuring compliance with allowable limits and environmental regulations.
  • Review applicable legal and other requirements, and communicate key updates to relevant stakeholders.

Facilities & Project Support

  • Manage building projects, facilities matters, and contractors on an ad‑hoc basis.

Who We’re Looking For 

  • Minimum Specialist Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore, or a recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of MOM regulations, WSH Act, Environmental Protection and Management Act, and related standards.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or heavy equipment environments is an advantage.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and detail‑oriented
