X’s APAC marketing team is looking for a driven, creative, and resourceful Marketing Event Manager to lead Events and Brand experience projects in APAC.
In this role, you will lead event planning and execution for both industry events and O&O events across Australia, India, Korea and Southeast Asia. You will also lead the development of APAC event strategy to build the brand and support business strategies and revenue growth across markets.

Scope

  • Leading and managing APAC events: The Events Marketing Manager will work with creative agencies, event agencies and reseller partners in local markets to lead event planning and operations for events and brand experience projects at different scales across APAC markets (including physical events, virtual events/webinars, hybrid events). 

  • Collaboration: This role will collaborate closely with the marketing team and cross-functional team across APAC and globally on content and creatives to ensure timely delivery of all event assets and materials.

  • Coaching our reseller partners: This role is the regional event expert to provide coaching, guidelines and supervision to our resellers across APAC. You will create regional event toolkits to enable our sales partners to scale events in multiple markets, following X brand guidelines and processes.

  • Managing executive engagement programs: including C-level engagement events and speaking opportunities for APAC senior leadership

  • Leading industry events: Lead an industry events strategy to promote the X brand amongst advertisers, agencies and partners across markets.

Requirements: 

  • 5-7 years of experience in event planning and management, either at an agency or in-house,

  • Experience in managing and scaling events across multiple markets in APAC, experience of managing physical events remotely is a bonus

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with C-level executives

  • Strong project management and agency management skills, hands-on experience in both physical and virtual events

  • Team leadership experience is a bonus

  • Language: Fluency in English, fluency in other Asian languages is a plus
