Job Description

  • Work with the site’s Project Manager and Contract Management Team on environmental remediation projects.  
  • Conduct inspection and supervision of contractors carrying out field activities (soil/ groundwater treatment works, excavations, soil and groundwater sampling) according to design and contract requirements.
  • Document and track work progress, review and assess contractor claims, EOT requests etc., to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Support in contractual risk identification and mitigation, dealing with disputes on contractual matters with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly summary reports, official letters/ correspondences, meeting minutes etc.
  • Support in environmental site assessment related projects, perform site visit/ inspection/ field sampling of environmental media (e.g., soil, water, air) and supervise subcontractors as and when required.
  • Support in technical report writing, prepare figures, illustrations, presentation slides, a part of the deliverables.
  • Support team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative duties.
  • Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/ her immediate superior.

Qualifications

  • Diploma, Specialist Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related fields
  • Fresh graduates, or early professionals up to 2 years of   experience working in the construction or civil works projects would be of advantages.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong growth mind-set, self-motivated to grow and learn new skills and knowledge.
  • Keen to work in a team as supportive team member, as well as ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
