Job Description- Conduct applied research and technical studies to support projects about environmental remediation, risk mitigation and infrastructure improvement in alignment with project objectives and scope requirements.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering team (environmental, civil, geotechnical, mechanical and related disciplines) to identify and address design, operational, and implementation challenges in remedial system design.
- Opportunity to work in environmental site assessment-related projects, whether individually or as part of a team, in accordance with client requirements, local regulations and international standards
- Perform site visit/ inspection/ field sampling of environmental media (e.g., soil, water, air) and supervise subcontractors as required for the projects handled.
- Write technical reports, including field data analysis, interpretation and recommendations.
- Prepare figures, drawings, and presentation materials, as part of the deliverables.
- Support team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative duties.
- Perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process/ Industrial Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines.
- Fresh graduates, or early professionals up to 2 years of experience in process, environmental or energy industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and basic knowledge or familiarity with gas flow systems, fluid dynamics, pressure-vacuum concepts, and piping or conveyance design.
- Basic knowledge or familiarity with environmental processes related to waste management, biogas/ landfill gas collection, or environmental site assessment of contaminated lands.
- Competent in computer-aided design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS etc).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; aptitude to think critically.
- Possesses strong growth mind-set, self-motivated to grow and learn new skills and knowledge.
- Keen to work in a team as supportive team member, as well as ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
