Job Description

As Enterprise AI Program Strategy Director, you will be responsible to partner with functional leaders, SMAI, IT, People org and finance counterparts to identify, prioritize and scale cross-functional high-impact AI use cases across Micron that can translate into measurable productivity gains, financial outcomes and/or strategic advantage for Micron. You will be working in close partnership with cross-functional leaders, subject matter experts and external experts (where relevant) to (1) establish clarity on functional top-tier productivity metrics and corresponding Micron AI value framework, (2) set near-term and long-term functional productivity goals based on AI-enabled opportunities (incl. GenAI / agentic AI / embodied AI / other traditional productivity tools etc.) benchmarks, (3) drive line-of-sight towards goals set, and (4) enable a robust cross-functional AI use case intake, prioritization and tracking platform to contribute towards Micron’s vision of building a frontier firm with best-in-class human-agent organization.

Main Responsibilities

Establish clarity on functional top-tier productivity metrics and corresponding Micron AI value framework

  • Establish understanding of value proposition of each function
  • Apply lean principles to enhance functional top-tier productivity metrics (where required); ensure top-tier productivity metrics are comprehensive
  • Establish corresponding Micron AI value framework
     

Set near-term and long-term functional productivity goals based on AI-enabled opportunities (incl. GenAI / agentic AI / embodied AI / other traditional productivity tools etc.) benchmarks

  • Benchmark representative productivity metrics
  • Keep up to date on latest AI developments and trends
  • Five-year look ahead AI-enabled opportunities sizing (long-term goals)
  • Two-year look ahead AI-enabled opportunities business plan targets (short-term goals)
     

Drive line-of-sight towards goals set

  • Organize bi-annual (twice a year) face-to-face summit / workshop focused on benchmarking, goal setting, strategy to improve line-of-sight, and hybrid organization structure optimization
  • Enable small group design-thinking sessions for cross-functional workflows reimagination (with latest GenAI / agentic AI / embodied AI / other traditional productivity tools etc. in mind)
     

Enable a robust cross-functional AI use case intake, prioritization and tracking platform

  • Establish business process (incl. stage gates, success criteria definitions etc.) and enable platform for cross-functional AI use case intake, prioritization, resource planning and progress tracking
  • Establish cross-functional AI use case prioritization framework – consider business value (financial / strategic), feasibility (data readiness, integration effort) etc.
  • Establish top use cases library (cross-functional / functional / small group / personal) documenting use cases specific productivity gains and adoption trends
     

Other Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment of strategic direction and initiatives
  • Deliver tactical support and program management
  • Setup channels to drive communication and collaboration
     

Requirements

  • Masters Degree with at least 4+ years of experience in strategy & operations in Semiconductor Industry
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in global AI transformation program management within the Semiconductor Industry
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in use cases, global program prioritization and global portfolio management within Semiconductor industry
