Job Description:
As a member of the AVEVA Presales team, you will be responsible for providing and overseeing the critical solution, technical, and industry knowledge to help support, generate, and develop new sales opportunities. You will deliver value to our customers, secure revenue growth, and grow AVEVA customer trust.
As a Presales Manager, you will also lead and inspire a dynamic team of presales SMEs, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth, innovation, learning to achieve exceptional performance to meet business goals. Primarily working with the regional Sales teams, the position also requires close interaction with portfolio management, product development and marketing, as well as customer support and services.
Responsibilities

Enable sales growth through AVEVA by driving revenue by qualifying leads.

Contributing to the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that prove and confirm the value of our solutions.

Engage with prospects to understand specific needs/problems and lead/contribute to the development of appropriate technical solutions.

Ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible, cost-effective, and align with the client's business objectives.

Build customer relationships and business plans to create opportunities and improve product or solution sales.

Support customer queries on product selection and capability.

Work with partners, system integrators, and third-party vendors for complex solutions proposal.

Collect customer feedback for product enhancement.

Manage, coach and develop the team’s technical competencies and industries knowledge.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to ensure the team provides relevant and best in class solutions.

Work closely with the sales team to strategize and position offerings, contributing to sales strategies and assisting in closing deals.

Track team members activities, metrics, and performance, and provide regular reports identifying areas for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
-
University degree in any Engineering disciplines or related technical disciplines
-
Above 10 years’ experience in solution selling, business development, and/or a customer value creation role
-
Over 15 years solid experience in CAPEX project execution/lifecycle in Process industry, e.g., Oil and Gas, Chemical, EPCs, etc.

Knowledgeable and has experience working/using engineering & design tools such as AVEVA Engineering, E3D, P&ID, Electrical & Instrumentation, Process Simulation or its equivalent.

Strong automation and information technology skills and knowledge with deep software and hardware knowledge, e.g. CLOUD, AI, XR, digital twins, digital transformation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs and problems of prospective customers.

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.

Ability to effectively manage multiple and possibly competing commitments at the same time.

Excellent proven customer-facing and presentation skills for complex technical solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

People manager or team lead experience is highly advantageous.
