Job Description
Position Summary
As an Engineering Manager, you will provide technical leadership to a team supporting the product development.
You will foster strong collaboration across Engineering, Product Management, Business, Project Management, and Quality, motivating and mentoring the team to maintain high performance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualification:
Ability and Attitude
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with people of all levels and across borders.

Experience
· Minimum 12 years of experience in embedded product development.
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a people manager in product development.
· Experience in designing and developing embedded software, including product verification, and validation knowledge.
· Proven ability to guide a team in analyzing and solving complex problems involving both hardware and firmware.
· Knowledge hardware in high-speed digital /analog circuits. Knowledge in Industrial Automation communication will be advantage.
· Knowledge of analysis tools, design guidelines, and best practices.
· Other desired experience / knowledge: Agile/SAFe methodologies, CyberSecurity/IEC 62443, IEC 61508 Functional Safety.
Education
· Bachelor / Master of Engineering degree in Electrical/ Computer Engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of 10 - 15 engineers (embedded software/firmware, test engineers)
· Manage, coach, and hold the team accountable for achieving goals and meeting commitments.
o Ensure product development activities comply with corporate and business-level processes and procedures.
o Drive problem resolution, clarify ambiguities, and remove impediments.
o Lead the team towards continuous improvement.
o Encourage cross-functional collaboration to achieve common goals.
o Monitor project status, escalate issues and risks as necessary.
· Develop team technical competencies to ensure the team can stay competitive to support business needs.
· Manage resource allocation to ensure the right resources available to support the different business needs.
· Identify and adopt the best practices and lessons learned from internal and external sources.
· Provide technical leadership, including driving problems toward resolution when encountering ambiguity, uncertainty, or inflexibility. Help the team to remove barriers.
· Champion new ideas and initiatives, embracing challenges and striving for success.
· Encourage a positive work environment to foster outstanding performance. Possess and share a vision of success and work with individuals to help them reach their full potential. Celebrate and reward significant achievement in others.
