Purpose of Role
In C&W, ESS and ACMV strives to maintain the customer premises ACMV equipment and customer technical expectations. The role will be the key responsible to identify service quality improvement and to address the operational and performance requirements. The role will also represent the first technical line of support for C&W's clients for chillers and ACMV equipment.
Job Description
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for all technical support, maintenance service of all brands of chillers and address the root cause of the asset (client) is maintained through the course of the contract
- Coordinate EPC maintenance contractors, review checklists and ensure customer D.O. sign-off within the time.
- Collect and evaluate statistical data related to the performance of the Chiller plant and ACMV system.
- Prepares and maintains the comprehensive energy conservation action plan to include previous and ongoing efforts and short, intermediate and long-term goals
- Prepare operational and maintenance schedule as per MIS
- Evaluate and provide fast resolution to field performance issues
- Visit sites to diagnose the operational issues and develop resolution plans
- Perform BMS/EMS and measurement and verification (M&V) instruments maintenance monthly/quarterly.
- Identify potential upselling opportunities at client site during regular or ad-hoc maintenance
Key Performance Indicator (KPIs)
- Reduce breakdown hours and justified by kWh savings
- D.O. sign off within time limit monthly
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Specialist qualification in HVAC and Mechanical/electrical/automation and Energy Management will be an added advantage
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification would be an added advantage
- Required fluency in English, Mandarin/Cantonese and other Asian languages beneficial
Competence/ Experience Required
- 5-10 years of prior work experience in energy performance contracting services and chiller maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
- Field experience with HVAC systems – chillers and air-handlers, Boilers/heat pumps would be added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple contracts
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to gain the trust from clients, has great communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Analytical mindset is able to see patterns in data
- Curiosity to solve problems, spotting issues and resolving them
- Hands-on, not afraid of being in the fields and solving issues collaboratively with the client when required
- Value teamwork and collaboration
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems is a plus Able to travel locally
