Act as the GDPR and Data Compliance lead for all European email marketing activities, ensuring strict adherence to EU regulations including GDPR, Double Opt-in requirements, Germany’s Impressum laws, and other country-specific compliance standards.
Drive lifecycle revenue growth across fragmented European markets, with focused ownership of France and Germany as priority regions.
Build and manage a multi-track European marketing calendar aligned with regional commercial events (e.g., French Soldes, German Black Week, Spanish Three Kings Day).
Coordinate and manage external translation agencies and freelancers to deliver high-quality localized content in French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Ensure cultural nuance and brand consistency across all markets while optimizing for local conversion performance.
Oversee the EU Operations Specialist to ensure flawless campaign execution, including QA of links, currency accuracy, segmentation logic, and translation validation.
Lead the Tier 2 market growth strategy (Italy and Spain) to unlock incremental lifecycle revenue opportunities.
Establish scalable workflows that maintain execution precision across multiple languages, currencies (€ / £), and time zones.
Personally lead retention strategy for France, validating copy quality and ensuring messaging aligns with French cultural and aesthetic expectations.
Optimize segmentation, personalization, lifecycle flows, and testing programs to maximize LTV across EU markets.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of lifecycle or email marketing experience with direct ownership of European markets.
Demonstrated track record of driving revenue through automated flows, campaign optimization, and advanced segmentation strategies.
Fluent in French with the ability to review and validate marketing copy quality.
Fluent in English as a working language.
Strong working knowledge of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and country-specific EU regulations.
Proven experience managing campaigns across multiple European markets simultaneously.
Comfortable operating across different currencies, languages, and time zones while maintaining performance and operational accuracy.
Experience managing execution teams, specialists, or external agencies to deliver high-quality output at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in German, Italian, or Spanish.
Experience in DTC, e-commerce, or high-growth consumer brands.
Advanced CRM automation, lifecycle optimization, and A/B testing expertise.
