How do we work?

Joining us you will be a part of a perfectly formed in-house Creative Team. You will report into the Head of Creative Strategy and join a team of expert Writers, Designers, and CMS Content Editors who collaborate closely to produce compelling integrated campaigns that engage our audience and rapidly grow our proprietary trading arm of the business. 

You will be hired as an Independent Contractor (6 months).

Independent Contractors are required to operate as a business entity (company/sole proprietorship) to enter into a Consulting Contract with OANDA.

In this role, you will:

  • Cooperate with a Creative Team to produce stellar content (web pages, social media) and campaigns (6 planned + ad hoc) at pace that engage with the audience and maximise Client sign ups.

  • Help our Customers to understand what trading means and make OANDA's Prop Trading product more recognizable.

  • Champion the new OANDA Tone of Voice.

  • Take projects from brief to final delivery.

  • Have an opportunity to work also with other languages than Traditional Chinese since we cooperate with external translating agencies.

  • Be responsible for performance measuring.

What skillsets do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in copywriting with a specific emphasis on ecommerce sales driven writing.

  • Very good English.

  • Some knowledge of Traditional Chinese (reading and understanding) and being eager to cooperate with translation agencies.

  • Excellent written communication skills, with a fundamental understanding of SEO.

  • Passionate about monetising content for a global audience.

  • Confident about pitching, presenting and championing ideas.

  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • The candidates are obligated to show examples of their previous work by sharing a link to their portfolio.

Nice to have:

  • Interest in or experience of working within the Financial, Banking, FX, CFDs or Gambling sector.

  • Proficiency in Figma, G-suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
