We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable senior wealth planning specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of wills, trusts, and tax laws and be able to integrate these elements effectively into comprehensive financial planning strategies. The Director/Senior Director, Wealth Planning will work closely with financial representatives to help clients achieve their financial and personal goals through estate and wealth planning. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with financial representatives to design and develop customized wealth plans for clients.
  • Provide basic tax guidance related to estate planning, including estate tax, gift tax, and income tax considerations.
  • Integrate estate planning components with overall financial planning strategies to optimize client wealth management.
  • Educate clients and financial representatives on the benefits and implications of various estate and wealth planning strategies.
  • Attend client meetings jointly with financial representatives to discuss and implement wealth planning strategies when needed.
  • Coordinate with trustees, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to ensure holistic and seamless wealth planning services.
  • Stay informed on changes in estate planning laws and financial regulations that may impact clients.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to financial representative and clients as their wealth planning needs evolve.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, law, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of wills, trusts, and tax laws, with an ability to integrate these into financial planning and/or understanding of accounting principles, with a particular ability to interpret financial statements for effective wealth planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in wealth planning, financial planning, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with estate administration processes and procedures.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients is a plus.
