About the Role:

There is a requirement for a Senior Risk Business Partner to undertake risk management activities within the following Subsidiaries of Everest Group:

  • Everest Reinsurance Company (ERC) Singapore Branch
  • Everest International Reinsurance, Ltd. (EIS) Singapore Branch

The role will report into the Head of the Global Risk Hub but with close alignment to Subsidiary Branch Managers and Chief Finance Officers (CFOs) who maintain overall responsibility for risk management within the subsidiary.

Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • The Senior Risk Manager will be responsible for all elements of the subsidiary
  • Risk management framework including but not limited to the following:
  • Review and management of the risk environment, including but not limited to:
  • Risk management framework, including policies and processes,
  • Risk register and assessment of risks including identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of key risks,
  • Risk appetite and tolerance monitoring,
  • Preparation of the ORSA working with Group ERM colleagues for inputs.
  • Controls monitoring and assurance.
  • Perform risk partnering and oversight alongside the Branch Senior Management.
  • Membership and quarterly attendance of the Committees and other Senior Management Meetings as relevant including presentation of reporting.
  • Liaison with Group ERM.
  • Liaison with Regulators.

Qualifications:

  • Risk management qualification a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven risk management experience within the insurance sector at a senior level.
  • Experience of working with Regulators.
  • Proven experience of creating and implementing risk frameworks.
  • Ability to produce reporting and present at an Executive level.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior individuals including the Regulator.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills.
