This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving growth, and ensuring the profitability of the Project & Program Services (PPS) business across our offices in Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and South Korea.
The position holds full accountability for the PPS business unit’s P&L across all locations and will lead efforts in integration, innovation, and client engagement across diverse markets. This position will be tasked with developing and executing market-specific strategies, cultivating strong client relationships, and leading a geographically dispersed and diverse team.
Responsibilities:
- P&L Accountability: Assume full P&L responsibility for the PPS Business Unit across Asia. This includes setting financial targets, managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitable growth.
- Regional Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a robust growth strategy across Asia (with initial focus on Singapore & Malaysia), identifying new market opportunities and driving revenue expansion.
- Market Penetration: Deepen market penetration and expand our client base within each of the key markets, understanding and adapting to local market nuances.
- Business Development: Lead business development initiatives, identify key client needs, and secure major projects and contracts within the region.
- Team Leadership: Build, manage, and motivate a high-performing team across multiple countries.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring effective communication and coordination across the region.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders in each market driving client retention, and market expansion.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective delivery of services and projects within the Business Unit, adhering to quality standards and timelines.
- Champion the rapid scale-up of the PPS business to a 50 million CAD revenue target—driving strategic innovation, operational excellence, and market expansion, while fully leveraging our global operating model and the capabilities of teams across the UK, the Global Technology Centre, and the wider organisation.
- Collaborate with country heads to align business unit goals & promote cross-border collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Lead talent strategy, succession planning, and capability building across the business unit.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse business performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to take informed strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be a seasoned and strategic business leader with a proven track record of scaling service-based businesses across diverse markets.
- Relevant experience is highly desirable.
- They will bring deep expertise in P&L management, regional growth strategy, and cross-border team leadership, ideally within professional services, consulting, or project-based industries.
