Job DescriptionThe Director of Product Operations at Katalon plays a critical role in defining and optimizing how our Product teams operate. This leader will drive process efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making while ensuring seamless execution across teams.
They will oversee the Center of Excellence (CoE), Product Analytics, Technical Writing, and Product Design teams to enhance operational effectiveness, improve insights, and build a scalable knowledge framework that supports Product Management and overall business goals.
Responsibilities include:
Standardized Way of Work & Product Operating Model
- Define and implement a Product Operating Model that enhances efficiency, consistency, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish and continuously improve best practices, workflows, and governance models for seamless product execution.
Product Insights & Data Analytics
- Lead Product Analytics to provide data-driven insights into product performance and adoption
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to drive decision-making based on data
Technical Writing & Knowledge Management
- Oversee Technical Writing to ensure high-quality documentation that improves product adoption, customer onboarding, and user experience.
- Align documentation strategies with Product and Engineering to enhance clarity, usability, and scalability.
- Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve internal understanding of products and features across teams.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead the Technical Writing, Product Design, Product Analytics, and CoE teams in achieving their goals.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership to drive alignment, remove roadblocks, and optimize execution.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CPO and senior leadership, providing insights and operational strategies to support product success.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, or related roles within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, including Product Analytics, Technical Writing, Product Design, or CoE teams.
- Strong background in process optimization, product execution, and operational excellence.
- Ability to define and implement scalable operating models and drive continuous improvements.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in product data analytics, reporting, and deriving actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work with Product, Engineering & Business to align on goals and execution.
- Understanding of documentation best practices to enhance product clarity and adoption.
- Experience leading organizational change, process improvements, and implementing best practices across global teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas in both Vietnamese and English to senior executives, team members, and cross-functional partners.
