We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Operations (DOO) to lead our Singapore Business Line. This pivotal role involves planning and directing operations to ensure project delivery excellence, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the SVP, South East Asia, Regional Business Line Leader’s (RBLL) and Sector Directors to develop and implement strategies that align with our business objectives and drive growth.
- Project Oversight: Ensure high standards of project governance, quality, and safety, while being accountable for the Approval Matrix requirements across the business line.
- Financial Management: Partner with the Leadership Team and Finance to develop annual budgets, monitor project performance, and assess future business needs to maximize Net Service Revenue (NSR) and Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, and Amortization (EBITA).
- Performance Analysis: Analyse operational performance by Business Line and market sector, proactively identifying areas for improvement to meet market expectations and client needs.
- Collaboration & Engagement: Collaborate across the Singapore business to leverage our global resources to benefit our clients locally. Work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure Delivery Excellence, commercial success, and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in operations management, project delivery, and strategic planning, y within the engineering or consulting industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, at C-Suite level.
- Strong grasp of regional market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.
- Translates strategy into actionable plans that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Deep understanding of financial drivers, market dynamics, and risk management.
- Makes data-informed decisions that balance growth and operational discipline.
- Champions continuous improvement, accountability and recognitionBuilds trust and credibility with senior leaders, clients, and partners.
- Drives alignment and inspires action across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience in budget management and performance analysis.
- Analytical skills, ability to analyse operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- A relevant degree (e.g., in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field) is typically preferred.
