Key Responsibilities:

·         Support the General Counsel of South East Asia on legal and compliance matters

·         Focus on legal affairs in South East Asia, identifying and managing risks in JLL’s business operations

·         Provide strategic advice for JLL South East Asia’s operations and develop processes to manage legal risks

·         Draft and negotiate contracts for various business lines of JLL and assist with tender responses

·         Handle disputes, including HR issues and litigation management

·         Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory systems in South East Asia as well JLL’s ethical obligations

·         Assist with global legal, compliance, and special projects

·         Conduct training on legal, ethics and compliance issues

·         Perform general corporate, commercial, and regulatory work

Qualifications:

·         Law degree from a recognized law school

·         8+ years post-admission experience in private practice or in-house

·         Experience working in a multinational corporation preferred

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

·         Commercial acumen with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

·         Effective at managing multiple priorities meeting deadlines

·         Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team

·         Understanding of the real estate industry and its growth areas
