Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Counsel of South East Asia on legal and compliance matters
- Focus on legal affairs in South East Asia, identifying and managing risks in JLL’s business operations
- Provide strategic advice for JLL South East Asia’s operations and develop processes to manage legal risks
- Draft and negotiate contracts for various business lines of JLL and assist with tender responses
- Handle disputes, including HR issues and litigation management
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory systems in South East Asia as well JLL’s ethical obligations
- Assist with global legal, compliance, and special projects
- Conduct training on legal, ethics and compliance issues
- Perform general corporate, commercial, and regulatory work
Qualifications:
- Law degree from a recognized law school
- 5+ years post-admission experience in private practice or in-house
- Experience working in a multinational corporation preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Commercial acumen with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Effective at managing multiple priorities meeting deadlines
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team
- Understanding of the real estate industry and its growth areas
