• Lead all aspects of procurement activities, ensuring detailed execution and adherence to company objectives.
• Advise the activities of buyers and expediters, providing clear mentorship and support to achieve elite performance.
• Review and approve purchases within specified limits, maintaining strict compliance with company policies.
• Negotiate major contracts involving large dollar amounts, applying your expertise to secure advantageous terms.
• Develop and put into action strong policies and procedures for procurement operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and track cost, schedule, and performance of major subcontracts, ensuring alignment with Micron's business strategy.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to meet site-specific and company-wide goals.
• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of production, negotiation, and performance tracking control systems.
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the procurement function.

• Validated experience in leading procurement teams, with a proven track record of success.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the capacity to clearly convey and uphold procurement strategies.
• Expertise in cost of ownership and business award processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to observe and boost performance metrics.
• Ability to formulate and apply business processes that promote efficiency and quality.
