The Director of AI is responsible for solving complex AI challenges, exceeding client expectations, leading AI teams, and fostering ethical AI practices. They will create thought leadership and manage AI solutions from conception to commercialization while building client relationships and partnerships.

Your objectives
- Solve the hardest problems with AI to deliver social and economic value
- Exceed client expectations becoming a trusted partner in enterprise transformation
- Recruit, inspire, lead and mentor a team of the strongest AI engineers
- Create a culture of excellence and lead with confidence, charisma, context, and humility working effectively at all levels
- Create and deliver world-class thought leadership on AI, win the confidence of business leaders and drive business adoption of AI
- Maintain public trust in AI ensuring fairness, ethics, accountability, and transparency
Your background
- Exceptional expertise in AI engineering, machine learning and data science
- Practical hands-on experience with a broad range of tools to assist in the AI development lifecycle: LLMs, Jupyter, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Hugging Face Transformers, AWS Bedrock, AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML, etc.
- 15 years of experience delivering and managing AI solutions through incubation, proofs-of-concept, to deployment and commercialisation
- Strong understanding of the marketplace for AI services with the ability to develop go-to-market plans supported by trusted partnerships
- Ability to build client relationships, grow engagements and deliver economic value
- Ability to develop and deliver client proposals, and build consensus supported by detailed analysis, deep expertise and effective communication
- Strong track record of leading delivery of AI large scale solutions through incubation, proofs-of-concept, to deployment and commercialisation
- Demonstrated ability to attract, inspire, lead, coach and mentor outstanding engineers
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver world-class AI thought leadership, engage senior leaders and become their trusted advisor
- Talented speaker and educator with active engagement in the AI community taking and giving courses, following podcasts, reading books, attending meetups, and developing projects
