Director, Account Management - Global Acquirers APAC
Overview:
The Regional Acquirers Account Management function drives growth and expansion of acceptance and acquiring capabilities, fostering key relationships with top global acquirers in the AP region. This role develops strategic partnerships with traditional and fintech acquirers, encompassing business development initiatives (network expansion, acceptance growth, value-added products/services) and operational expertise (franchise management, product delivery).• Priorities: Develops sales and strategic priorities for regional customer accounts, driving brand preference, market share, volume, and revenue growth.• Relationship Management: Leads and manages multi-market acquiring customer relationships, identifying opportunities and customer needs.• Customized Solutions: Partners with customers to deliver tailored solutions and consulting support.• Pipeline Management: Oversees pipeline management at the account level.
The Role:• Drives and executes strategic priorities and achieves net revenue targets.• Conducts business analysis (profitability modeling, financial forecasting, competitive analysis) for internal and external stakeholders.• Develops strategies, messaging, and proposals for customers.• Manages key customer relationships (peer and C-Suite levels).• Lead and collaborates with internal stakeholders and customers on quarterly business reviews and account plans.• Collaborates and supports internal stakeholders and customers across regions on regional/local market projects and cross-functional initiatives.
All About You:• Deep knowledge of acquiring and 5+ years' experience working in Fintech companies or global/regional payment industry• Comprehensive experience executing and managing acquirer/merchant sales strategies for global-sized accounts• Strong financial acumen (finance qualifications preferred), with working knowledge of data analysis tools and specialized data sources• Consistently delivered thoughtful market and business analysis for customer account• Demonstrated knowledge and proactive interest in the evolution of the regional payments industry and the dynamic role of acquirers, APMs and eCom merchants.
