Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and based out of Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group.  We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units and beyond, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. About the Role

As an Operations Specialist, you will be part of Digital Procurement team and you will report to the Head of Digital Procurement. The Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day procurement tool-support related operations. This position involves coordinating various operational activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. You will be working closely with the Telenor business units and driving standardization by leveraging all tool features. The role requires you to consider avenues for continuous improvement.  This is a permanent role and will be based out of Singapore.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Management:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Document, monitor and analyze workflows, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Conduct data analysis across various procurement tools to identify opportunities for enhancing operational performance.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations through data-driven storytelling and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Project Support:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
    • Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Support local purchasing hub to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Support quality assurance initiatives to maintain high operational standards.
  • Global Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver training sessions on procurement process and tools.
    • Maintain global training materials repository with up-to-date functionalities.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure effective use of procurement tools.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments and business units to ensure alignment and support operational goals.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams to improve overall performance.

Qualification and Skills Requirements

  • University degree in Procurement, Finance, Analytics or Business Management
  • Up to 2 years of professional experience in related field
  • Experience in designing comprehensive user training content. Must be adept at creating clear, concise, and visually engaging instructional materials.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and opportunity identification
  • Proficient in analytics and using visualisation tools (Visio, PowerBI, others)
