As a Digital Editor, you will be responsible for managing and curating content across our digital platforms, ensuring that our online presence aligns with our brand's image and appeals to our target audience. You will play a crucial role in shaping the digital content strategy, enhancing user engagement, and maintaining the quality of our digital publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Curation and Editing:
- Curate and edit lifestyle content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and images.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligns with the brand's style and tone.
Digital Strategy Development
- Collaborate with the editorial team to develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy.
- Identify trending topics and content ideas to attract and retain readers.
SEO Optimization:
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility and organic traffic.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to make data-driven decisions.
Social Media Management:
- Manage and update social media channels to promote content and engage with the audience.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase followers and brand awareness.
Multimedia Integration:
- Oversee the integration of multimedia elements, such as images, videos, infographics, and interactive content.
- Ensure multimedia content is visually appealing and enhances the user experience.
Quality Control:
- Maintain editorial standards, including grammar, spelling, and formatting.
- Conduct regular content audits to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
Audience Engagement:
- Foster reader engagement by responding to comments, questions, and feedback.
- Encourage user-generated content and community participation.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members to coordinate content production and publication schedules.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align content with promotional campaigns.
Trends and Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, digital publishing best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital editing, content curation, or a similar role within lifestyle publishing.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with multimedia content creation and editing tools.
