About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Digital & Content Strategist to develop and execute compelling integrated campaigns and content strategies for an enterprise client. This role is crucial in driving engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness, particularly on LinkedIn and through a monthly newsletter. The ideal candidate will align content with client’s business priorities, sustainability initiatives, and the specific needs of enterprise-level clients, particularly within the B2B tech space. This role requires a strong understanding of the digital landscape, excellent research skills (including the ability to quickly grasp complex technical information), and the ability to translate that information into engaging and impactful content across the entire marketing funnel (TOF, MOF, BOF).
Responsibilities:
Campaign & Comms/Content Strategy Development:
- Develop comprehensive campaign and communication strategies, including integrated campaigns and email-only campaigns, tailored to target audiences across the entire marketing funnel (TOF, MOF, BOF).
- Understand the target audience (CISOs, Infosec professionals, network security, IT managers in global and local markets), the sales process, and the technology being marketed to develop effective strategies.
- Develop a deep understanding of client’s products and services through independent research.
- Lead the development of creative briefs for campaign assets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and target audience insights.
Performance Reporting & Analysis:
- Develop and deliver monthly digital performance reports, analysing key metrics for LinkedIn posts.
- Identify top and lowest performing posts, highlighting trends and providing actionable insights for optimisation.
- Monitor and report on relevant industry trends on LinkedIn, identifying opportunities for client to leverage.
Content Planning & Strategy:
- Develop a monthly content calendar for LinkedIn, incorporating client’s business priorities and new asset releases.
- Propose 15-20 detailed post outlines per month, including compelling titles, engaging content, recommended post formats (e.g., text, image, video), and relevant asset references.
- Ensure all content aligns with client’s brand voice and strategic objectives.
Newsletter Content Development:
- Conduct thorough research to identify relevant and engaging topics for the monthly newsletter, specifically targeting CISOs, Infosec professionals, network security, and IT managers.
- Propose 3-4 newsletter topics each month, based on research and alignment with client’s strategic goals.
- Suggest 3 topics for the sustainability newsletter each month.
- Develop detailed topic outlines for selected newsletter topics, providing a clear direction for content creation.
Sustainability Focus:
- Conduct ongoing research to identify relevant sustainability topics for the client, aligning with their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Integrate sustainability messaging into LinkedIn posts and newsletter content where appropriate.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the team to understand their business priorities, asset releases, and feedback on content proposals.
- Effectively communicate content strategies and performance insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of client’s brand guidelines and ensure all content adheres to these guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 to 10 years) in digital marketing, content strategy, or social media management and campaign management, specifically within a B2B tech environment for enterprise companies.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn marketing best practices and analytics.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for a technical audience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform content strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for sustainability and an understanding of relevant trends and issues.
- Experience working with enterprise-level clients.
- Based in Singapore (SG) and available for occasional face-to-face meetings.
- Demonstrated interest and curiosity in technology.
