Developer cum Test Analyst

Job Description

· Total years of experience: 4-6 years working Experience

· Years of experience in relevant skills: 3 years in PL/SQL Development

· 2 years in Unix Scripting

· 2 years in Java Development

· 2 years in Testing (Both Manual and Automation)

· 2 years in Java Performance and/or manual testing

· 2 years in Banking Domain/Billing/Factoring/SWIFT Application Related

Desired Skills

· Proven ability to work and resolve production incidents under strict time constraints and provide workarounds using java snippets or UNIX shell scripts

· Should be able to coordinate with application level 3 support over phone and perform relevant remedial actions for BAU processing

· Requirements analysis and ideation

· Good working experience on various types of Testing say Sanity, Functional testing, End to End testing, Regression testing, web service testing and related testing methodologies

· Expertise in the creation of Test Scenarios Cases, Test Plan, Test Scripts, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and Reviews for various test phases

· Strong experience in recording and tracking the defects uncovered during the execution of tests and participate actively in resolution; proposes and designs retest cases/scripts/data to retest defects.

· Highly motivated individual; successfully led the testing efforts for multiple projects and completed testing on time with quality

· Experience in coordinating with offshore team from on-site, and handling stakeholders & counterparts located in various geographies/time zones

· Hands On experience in Setting Up SIT & UAT Environment

· Proven ability in Coordinating and managing UAT according to time and effort estimates

· Highly motivated individual; successfully led the testing efforts for multiple projects/environment and completed testing on time with quality

· Enthusiastic, hardworking, proactive and goal-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail with proven ability to build and lead effective teams

Responsibilities

· Analyze User & Business requirements, and developed Test Scenarios & Cases for functional testing and System Integration Testing

· Walk-through of test scenarios/cases to business stakeholders, Business Analyst and Designer/Developer and complete sign-off.

· Performs System Integration Testing

· Record and track defects uncovered during the execution of tests and escalated the issues status to project management and updated Teams on items of impact and participate in resolution; design retest cases/scripts/data to retest.

· Manage UAT Jobs loading & ensure the jobs completed timely for User Verifications.

· Performs UAT & PROD Implementation

· Coordinates user during the UAT so that UAT can be completed timely
